Allana Ferguson bio

Allana competed for Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to miss several seasons before switching to the Rugby League. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana's radio career has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a highly rated program. Outside of sport Allana is also a qualified educator. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three sports - rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player for the Jillaroos of Australia team has suffered a premature ending to her career as a player after she tore her ACL on a 4th occasion. Ferguson was already tearing ligaments in her same knee at the ages of 15 and 17 but following the third tear, it was game over for the 25-year-old.
