Allana Ferguson bio
Allana competed for Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to miss several seasons before switching to the Rugby League. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana's radio career has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a highly rated program. Outside of sport Allana is also a qualified educator. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three sports - rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Ferguson was already tearing ligaments in her same knee at the ages of 15 and 17 but following the third tear, it was game over for the 25-year-old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth-year ACL injured, had to quit in the early hours. Ferguson suffered an ACL injury during training in November.
