Allana Ferguson bio
Allana competed in Australia in Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to miss several seasons before switching back to Rugby League. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women was in 2015. She played well against Queensland and also represented New South Wales. Allana also added radio to the game, and has regularly appearances on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Beyond sports, Allana is a trained educator. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of playing for Australia in three sports - rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos player who played in the rugby league for a number of years but had to stop her professional career prematurely due to her tearing her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson, who is 25 already, had tears to the same ligaments at the age of 15 or 17 years old, and then 20 and a 4th tear meant she was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS's playmaker was forced to step down earlier due to a fourth accident to her left ACL. Ferguson suffered an injury in November, during a training session. The Courier Mail confirmed the announcement in this week. Ferguson has been the face of women's rugby league for the past couple of seasons.
